Blog Post #5 –Content Marketing idea for Air Canada

In this post, you will present an original Content Marketing campaign idea for one of your brands.  Knowing which “This is a student-concept for a Sheridan Pilon School of Business Digital Marketing Course”.
I am creating this campaign for Jet Airways. My idea for this blog is “STARTING NEW CHAPTER IN LIFE”.
This concept would be based on students who are going abroad to study will get a 10% discount on their respective flights. My audience for this particular promotion would be students who are in the final year of high school who aspire to study abroad, their parents and those who have their student visa approved. The idea for my promotion would something like this



I would launch this my promotion during the month of April when students are done with their High School exams and deciding on their future. Around this time most students start preparing for their IELTS exam and start deciding on the country of their choice. We are going to promote this campaign on Facebook, Twitter and especially near the IELTS center where students are going to spend most of their time when promotion is launched. We will launch this promotion on our Facebook page with student who like our page about the promotion getting an additional 1% discount. On twitter we will launch a user generated contest on students putting their video online the best video getting a free ticket to their destination. The eligibility for this contestant would be student who have their student visa approved. My campaign would attract the interest during the user generated contest because India is one of the countries who sends most students to study internationally. It would acquire audience through social networking sites because most students who want to study abroad are always searching about the habitat there and challenges they would face. The contest would engage my audience.

Blog Post #4 –Fan Pages, influencers, inbound links for Air Canada and Jet Airways

According to the recent survey, airlines is the best transport facility in the world. The two best airlines are Jet Airway and Air Canada. Air Canada and Jet Airway is an international airline. Basically, Air Canada Is Canada-based, it serves over 131 routes. Air Canada is also a member of Star Alliance.76% Air Canada flights are on-time, which is essentially higher than the normal for all other airlines. Air Canada flight prices are reasonable. Jet Airways is an Indian airline, it serves 73 routes. 73.41% jet airways flights are good in time.

Here, is some additional features of Air Canada, more capacious seats, slightly more legroom. Air Canada meals will be based on routes and fares, special meals must be ordered 24 hours before the flight, otherwise, complimentary meals are offered. Air Canada armada is 4 years younger than others.
Additional information regarding jet airways, no doubt they also have same economy seating & meal services as Air Canada but they don’t currently offer any Wi-Fi facility in their airline.

Both airlines have some additional policies, in air Canada, if minor kids (8-12 years) travelled without any mature person they must have to purchase $100 dollars unaccompanied minor services. Even, in jet airways, they charge $30 for a service from minor kids (5-12 years). In the air, Canada under 8 years and in jet airways under 5 cannot travel alone.
Experts say that air Canada got 4-star rating & jet airways got an overall 3-star rating, 4 in business class and 3.5 in economy class.



Conclusion-after concluding all facts and figures, it briefed that no doubt , entertainment facility or social popularity of Air Canada is much more than Jet Airways , but still Jet Airways is more better than Air Canada because of so many reasons according to customer reviews they said that usually Air Canada flights are mostly leave late. Their staff is less helpful. They also said that the boarding crew is also rude. One main thing is that Jet Airway is more affordable for middle class person.

Now a day every big company have YouTube Channel, Air Canada and Jet Airways also have their YouTube channels in which they post their videos about new offers, new air crafts and benefits and sometimes they do some contests. Air Canada post videos every week in which they promote their airlines. Their latest video was posted 3 days ago, named as “Achieving new heightsin which they representing their Services in Canada and happiness which they are providing to their customers. Jet Airways do same like Air Canada they also promote their airlines and benefits. The latest video was posted 5 days ago, named as Jet airways Global linker” in which they were telling how you can sign up to their new facility of linking business peoples to each other. Both brands doing well on their channels but I observe that Air Canada has more likes as compared to Jet Airways because they post more videos then Jet Airways and their videos always related to their Airlines and Jets sometimes post videos of people and their contests

After examining Air Canada and Jet Airway’s twitter pages, it is very proper to state that Air Canada tweets significantly more than Jet Airway does. Air Canada tweet more about whom they meet soon like a popular singer, designer or many others. Whenever they introduce any new service or new flight they post on their twitter page. They also tweet about fare discounts and special offers. Recently they tweet about their new 80th anniversary and  On the other side, to make their twitter page more attractive or more popular Jet Airways introduce so many things in their regular life. One contest named #jet plays cupid on their twitter page.in this valentine week, they post which I like the most on jet airway’s twitter page is that they give a chance to win a free return ticket between Delhi and jodhpur. Both airlines tweet on their daily basis, maybe every hour. No doubt, but air Canada tweet more than jet airways

Blog Post 1 Air Canada vs Jet Airways on Facebook

    Air Canada is a major airline of Canada and doing very successful business throughout the world. On the other hand, we have Jet Airways which belongs to India and they are also doing a very successful business. Both the brands have their official pages on Facebook. Air Canada has recently posted on their page about their new air craft named as 787 dream liner launch and their 80th anniversary on the other hand we have jet airways in which they were telling about their comfort on board.  I believe that both companies are doing well on Facebook to promote their brands. I assume that both companies are following 50 50.

As we achieve new heights together in our 80th anniversary year, so does our fleet! Watch as our new livery comes to life, and the Air Canada Rondelle returns to our tail. #FlyTheFlag. This sentence was used by Air Canada on their 80th anniversary. When we say “Love is in the air”, we mean it! #JetWings. This was a recent line used by Jet Airways. The most successful recent post by Air Canada was when they hit their 80th anniversary. This post was successful because they were launching their new plane on their 80th anniversary new plane which they were going to launch on the date of anniversary., that post has near about 220lk likes, 1160 shares and 3.3 k comments. Besides Jet Airways also doing well as their recent successful post was on valentine in which they were giving a chance to meet your love. This post was successful because peoples who were missing their partners can get a chance to participate in it, this post hits nearly 15k likes, 660 shares and 100 comments.

Blog Post #5 Content Marketing idea for Emirates Airlines

*      This campaign is for promotion of Emirates Airlines on Valentine’s Day.
*      The tagline for the Emirates will be “ DISTANCE IS JUST A TEST HOW FAR LOVE CAN TRAVEL ”
*      The idea will be a small video will be conducted in which the actual playground will be built as sky, covered fully with sky wallpaper and small aeroplane as a swing. A women meeting his husband after 7 years. The reaction and love of both husband and wife will be shown of meeting after a long time.   People can actually sit in the plane and can feel as if they are sitting in the aeroplane. This video is basically a scene build for a target audience. 
*      The target audience will be the LOVE COUPLES, first time flying passengers and those individuals who have phobia of flying in the air.  This will be a small video for social media sample and the reactions of individuals when they meet their love ones will be posted on social media.
*      The goals for this video is Emirates can reach to those people who are apart from each other and really interested to meet them. One click on the link and see that video and share to their friends. By their click on link Emirates can understand that how many people are interested and for those interested individuals the special discounts will be given. 
*      To launch this special love promotion will be on Valentine’s Day were couples can travel in flights or singles can be mingles by meeting each other.  
*      The platform will be Facebook and strategy is Reduce costs by helping people strengthen relationships and another platform is YouTube.

*      On such a special occasion like Valentine’s Day the ads will be given and videos will be posted on Facebook and on YouTube for the youtubers so that they can watch and get the special discounts.
