Blog Post #5 –Content Marketing idea for Air Canada

In this post, you will present an original Content Marketing campaign idea for one of your brands.  Knowing which “This is a student-concept for a Sheridan Pilon School of Business Digital Marketing Course”.
I am creating this campaign for Jet Airways. My idea for this blog is “STARTING NEW CHAPTER IN LIFE”.
This concept would be based on students who are going abroad to study will get a 10% discount on their respective flights. My audience for this particular promotion would be students who are in the final year of high school who aspire to study abroad, their parents and those who have their student visa approved. The idea for my promotion would something like this



I would launch this my promotion during the month of April when students are done with their High School exams and deciding on their future. Around this time most students start preparing for their IELTS exam and start deciding on the country of their choice. We are going to promote this campaign on Facebook, Twitter and especially near the IELTS center where students are going to spend most of their time when promotion is launched. We will launch this promotion on our Facebook page with student who like our page about the promotion getting an additional 1% discount. On twitter we will launch a user generated contest on students putting their video online the best video getting a free ticket to their destination. The eligibility for this contestant would be student who have their student visa approved. My campaign would attract the interest during the user generated contest because India is one of the countries who sends most students to study internationally. It would acquire audience through social networking sites because most students who want to study abroad are always searching about the habitat there and challenges they would face. The contest would engage my audience.
